Ty Adamds - BIO

Ty's love for music started very early. She began singing at just five years old in her church choir where she grew up singing. Her family is full of musicians and singers, so music was always a big part of her life. When Ty was ten, she discovered and began playing the flute. In high school, she performed in both the band and choir which grew her love for music.

When Ty began college, she took a break from music for a while as she had been told that “music wasn’t a practical career”. After just one semester she knew she had made a big mistake and simply had to pursue music. Ty went on to earn her bachelor's degree in music from Central Connecticut State University. Ty plans to earn her certification to teach music in schools and her big dream is to become a music professor at a college, where she can teach and inspire older students that music is a practical career choice and they can express themselves through song.

Music is a great way to express yourself, and with the power of your voice, you can conquer the world!

My Approach to Teaching

My goal is to encourage individuality while never forgetting the fundamentals. My hope is for students to enjoy singing and learn something new in every lesson.
